How can i come up with some fresh ideas to promote a MLM business?

I am looking for a MLM business to join first of all. I don't even have a company to promote as of right now. Secondly i am not looking to join a MLM business using the normal advertising methods. i need someone who has new ways of promoting a MLM business that sound like it might actually work. If anyone out there has some ideas let me know please.
Some of the ways you can advertise your business are:
1. Post an article about your business on related blogs and get free visitors and back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
4. Forums
